This Federal Aviation Administration preliminary operations report, dated October 28, 2023, logs UFO/UAP activity near Lynchburg, Virginia at 0443 Eastern time. Washington ARTCC advised that American 2928, an A319 flying from Monterrey, Mexico to JFK, reported a UAP with three bright lights while southbound at FL350, 20 miles north of Lynchburg. The crew took no evasive action, and no law enforcement notification was reported. FedEx 1402 also reported a UAP sighting.
