This Federal Aviation Administration preliminary operations report from 2023 records UFO/UAP activity near Ukiah, California, at 10:10 PM PDT on October 27, 2023. Oakland ARTCC advised that Alaska Airlines flight 1233, a Boeing 737-900 flying from Los Angeles to Seattle, reported lights from above at the 12 o'clock position. The aircraft was northwest bound at FL360, 20 miles west-southwest of the Mendocino VORTAC. No evasive action was taken.
