This Federal Aviation Administration record, which the Department of Transportation released in 2023, is a preliminary FAA operations report dated October 19, 2023. It says Boston ARTCC advised that the crew of N823HL, a Learjet 45 flying from Philadelphia to Nantucket, Massachusetts, reported a silver, softball-sized UAP off the right side at FL180 while on final for Nantucket. The report states that the crew took no evasive action and that no law enforcement notification was reported.
