This Federal Aviation Administration record from the Department of Transportation is a preliminary FAA operations report dated July 20, 2023. It says Los Angeles ARTCC advised that Delta 2110, a flight from Seattle to San Diego, saw an unidentified aerial phenomenon off the right side of the aircraft. The crew was heading southeast at FL210, 15 miles west northwest of the Oceanside VORTAC in California. They described a set of bright lights offshore and took no evasive action.
