This Federal Aviation Administration record, part of a 2023 release from the Department of Transportation, logs a preliminary FAA operations report dated July 8, 2023. Boston ARTCC said that NetJets 828, a Cessna C700 flying from PWM to TEB, reported a large, brown unidentified aerial phenomenon 200 feet below the aircraft. The jet was southeast bound at FL240 over Albany, New York, at the time. No evasive action was taken, and no law enforcement notification was reported.
