This Federal Aviation Administration record, part of a 2023 release from the Department of Transportation, logs a UAP report dated March 22, 2023. According to FAA operations, Washington ARTCC advised that Southwest flight 1307, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 flying from RSW to BWI, reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon. The crew saw it on the aircraft's left side while northbound at FL410 near Lawrenceville, Virginia. They described flashing lights above them at a distance of 100 miles and took no evasive action.
