This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report, released in 2023 under Department of Transportation file 237UAP00358, records an unidentified aerial phenomenon on February 20, 2024. American Airlines flight AAL2054, a Boeing 737 MAX flying from Phoenix to Miami at FL370, reported three white lights making tight spirals at about FL450, 200 nautical miles south-southeast of CEW. Jacksonville Center (ZJX) did not see the phenomenon on its radar. The report is marked closed.
