This 2023 Federal Aviation Administration record, from the Department of Transportation, logs an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported to Miami Center (ZMA) on August 8, 2023. FedEx flight FDX52, an MD-11 flying from San Juan to Miami at FL 380, reported the phenomenon near 2429N 7250W. The report says it appeared to be military activity at about 40,000 feet. About one minute later, JetBlue flight 1348, an A320 flying from San Juan to Dulles at FL 340, reported a similar sighting.
