This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch Incident Report records an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported on March 9, 2023, and handled by the Anchorage facility (ZAN). A BE10 aircraft flying northeast at 14,000 feet from PTH to MRI reported a well-illuminated but undefined object off its right side, slightly below, near Mt. Augustine. The pilot in command lost contact with the object in twilight. No traffic was in the vicinity. ANR was notified, and the report is closed.
