This Federal Aviation Administration record, released by the Department of Transportation, logs an unidentified aerial phenomenon report from February 7, 2023. It was filed through Minneapolis Center (ZMP). United flight UAL1164, a Boeing 737 flying from San Francisco to Toronto, and several other aircraft saw bright flashing lights about 50 nautical miles north of Des Moines. The lights were moving east-southeast at 60,000 feet or higher. The FAA matched the report to a Starlink satellite train, and NORAD agreed.

ATSC and OMIC correlated the report to a STARLINK satellite train consisting of 3-4 groups of 4 units (approximately 20 satellites). FAA NORAD conferenced and concurs.
