This 2023 Federal Aviation Administration record, catalogued as 237UAP00180, is a closed unidentified aerial phenomenon report filed through the Kansas City center (ZKC). It says that on 3 February 2023, Delta flight DAL1276, an A321 flying from Dallas-Fort Worth to Minneapolis, reported a large balloon off its left side. The aircraft was northbound at FL310, 13 nautical miles northwest of STJ, and the balloon appeared to be at about FL500 or higher.
