This Federal Aviation Administration record from the Department of Transportation, dated 2023, is a closed report of an unidentified aerial phenomenon filed through the Salt Lake City reporting facility (ZLC). At 18:45 on 1 February 2023, the crew of commercial flight QXE2084, an E75L flying from Billings to Seattle, reported a UAP while westbound at FL340, 73 nautical miles from Billings. The object looked like a large balloon at roughly FL370 to FL390.
