This Federal Aviation Administration record, released by the Department of Transportation in 2023, logs an unidentified aerial phenomenon report from 11 November 2022. The Salt Lake City center (ZLC) received it from UPS flight UPS834, a Boeing 757 flying north at FL360 from Ontario to Boise. The crew saw two to three white lights circling at about FL740, 74 nautical miles west of Ely. FedEx flight FDX1879 reported the same thing from the same location at the same time. The case is marked closed.
