This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report, released in 2023, records an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported on May 12, 2022, by the crew of UPS flight 1114, an MD11 flying from Louisville (SDF) to JFK. While northeast bound at FL310 over the CSN VORTAC, the crew saw an equally spaced line of very bright lights moving east, high above their altitude. A second flight, VTE611, reported the same sighting. The report is marked closed.

The unknown phenomenon was an equally spaced line of very bright lights moving Eastward away from their aircraft high above their altitude. LEO notification was not made.
