This Federal Aviation Administration record, released by the Department of Transportation in 2023, logs an unidentified aerial phenomenon report from March 29, 2022. Two GTI commercial flights, GTI8050 and GTI617, were flying northeast at FL 350 near SYA when their crews reported something above them that looked like a rocket with a flash, travelling northwest. GTI8050 was a Boeing 747 flying from VHHH to ANC. Headquarters contacted NORAD and the FAA ATSCS, and the case is marked closed.
