This is a Skywatch Incident Report from the Federal Aviation Administration, part of the Department of Transportation, released in 2023. It records an event on June 9, 2021, reported by the Los Angeles center (ZLA). The crew of a GLF4 on a commercial flight from VNY to CMH reported a glowing white cylindrical object. The object was off the right side of the aircraft at FL450, 29 NM southwest of GCN. It paralleled the aircraft at the same speed about 3,000 feet above, and the pilot took photos and video.
