This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch Incident Report, released in 2023, records a 24 December 2010 UFO report relayed by Fort Worth Center (ZFW). The pilot of SkyWest 4525, a CRJ9, said an object with alternating red, white and green lights had matched his speed, direction and altitude at FL360 for 15 to 20 minutes about 40 miles west of the WINK VOR. A BE40 crew reported the same object at FL410. Neither radar nor CONR, NORAD or AMOC detected anything, and the object faded.

The object had alternating red, white and green lights and was reported to be approximately 40 miles west of the WINK VOR. Subsequently, near the same geographic position N449TM, BE40 observed the same thing but stated it was at his altitude (FL410) and additionally had a flashing yellow light. Neither ZFW or HQ DEN observed a target in the area. At 1256, both pilots reported to ZFW that the object had faded and was no longer observed. HQ DEN contacted CONR, NORAD and AMOC.
