This release contains White House Exchange Mail records dated January 1998 to October 1999. Most of it is a transcript of a January 29, 1998 press briefing by Press Secretary Mike McCurry covering Iraq, Iran, the budget and the Lewinsky inquiry, plus a 1998 presidential speech. An October 19, 1999 email among Transnational Threats staff forwards a Florida Today article on how scientists expect alien contact would spark a media frenzy rather than a cover-up, describing the 1989 SETI detection protocol.

Why is it different than the President and First Lady alleging a wing conspiracy, so far on the basis of no facts? it a federal crime to interfere with a woman exercising her constitutiona right to visit a women's health center is so that the full weight of federal law enforcement can be brought in an effective way when a situation arises : which that is called for or entertained or agreed to by federal law enforcement officials, working in close cooperation with state and local officials. An, indeed, federal agents are already in Birmingham to assist local law enforcement officials there to make sure that the perpetrators of this crime are brougl justice. MR. MCCURRY: The President will have a statement shortly that will strongly - it is already? Okay. So, he obviously has strongly condemned the violer that occurred. He thinks that this bombing is an unforgivable act that strikes the heart of the constitutional freedoms and individual liberties that all Americans hold dear and that are protected.
