This Clinton Presidential Library FOIA release (2006-0474-F) holds a folder titled [UFO] from the Agency Liaison records. It contains 1996 letters that members of the public, including students, sent to President Clinton asking about UFOs, a cover-up and the 1947 Roswell incident. NASA public affairs official Laurie Boeder replied on July 17, 1996 that no government agency investigates UFOs. The replies enclosed a February 1996 NASA fact sheet on Project Blue Book, the Condon study and SETI.

I ask you if the government is withholding information on this subject, and if they are, for you to make all the findings available to the public. This means a lot to me. I hope you can meet my requests. If not, I respectfully understand and assume you have either no control over the information, or some other good reason. Thank you for your time.
