This file is a 1999 set of email records from a federal records system, possibly released through FOIA. Most of the emails are broadcast messages from Joseph P. Firmage promoting his online book The Truth and the International Space Sciences Organization, which he founded to study propulsion, energy and consciousness. One message, from Ed Yardeni, concerns a World Economic Forum Y2K panel at Davos and notes that Firmage was originally on the panel. None of the emails describe a specific UFO sighting.

The rare context in time and a review of the candidates for President suggest that Election 2000 will be unusually engaging. Not necessarily because of debates framed within present party platforms, as Democrat and Republican agendas have edged ever closer to their common center of gravity in recent years. Rather, the four candidates leading the polls are all bright and able men, and each has lived much of his life in the scrutiny of the public's electronic eye. One can anticipate that they will need such experience, since they'll be the first Presidential candidates to face th~ communications power of convergent media, evolving into potent new forms with an Internet connecting them.
