MR. ZINHO: I think you might to straighten out the record right here and now.

MR. GRISZZI: To not the revised straight, here's a brief random on what the Landrum-Griffin Act is: --- (MN TO L-0 PUTTER NO. 2) --- It's a bill of rights for rank-and-file union members. It prevents then honesty in the election of union officials and the conduct of union affairs. It's a law to protect the rank-and-file union member and a law to protect the public interest.

Well, I'm not unpleased some well paid union officials don't like it. After all, it gives a union worker the right to speak out against union leaders without fear of reprisal. None of these paid officials usually wouldn't like a law that requires a financial accounting by union leaders every year and grants against misuse of union funds. Bob, a few of the labor benches don't like the Landrun-Griffin hot, but I feel sure the people of this country do depend that includes second-and-file union members.

Mr. Olivetti: Jerry, I'm satisfied to let the people judge whether the Landrum- written Act is good law.
