The Comisión de Estudio de Fenómenos Aeroespaciales (CEFAe) of the Fuerza Aérea Argentina, directed by Com. (R) Rubén Lianza, issued this annual report for 2018. It analyzes 21 sighting reports received that year, plus two historical cases: Campo de Mayo (1972), attributed to a barium cloud for ionospheric experiments, and Bariloche (1995), attributed to a sky tracer searchlight reflecting off clouds. All 22 analyzed cases were resolved, mostly as birds, insects, optical reflections, balloons and satellites.
35 CASO JESUS GUTIÉRREZ FOTO ENVIADA POR EL TESTIGO RESOLUCIÓN POR EL MÉTODO DE LA GEOMETRÍA ÓPTICA CONCLUSIÓN: El objeto lenticular que aparece superpuesto al rostro del fotógrafo es compatible con un Lens Flare (reflejo interno en el conjunto de lentes de la cámara). Cabe destacar que el testigo nos envió muchas otras fotos que exhiben todas ellas, el mismo efecto, de las cuales mostramos algunas aquí.
