This Internet Archive upload by Paul Galante reproduces the FBI's 2017 FOIA release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault about George Adamski. The release contains 281 previously processed pages. It includes 1954 Detroit field office memoranda on the Flying Saucer Club of Detroit, on informants who worried that its anti-hydrogen-bomb messages were political propaganda, and on a July 1954 meeting presided over by Adamski. Later items cover Joseph Perry's 1960 Grand Blanc saucer photograph, which was passed to the Air Force, and a 1960 Detroit sighting report.

On Hove·nber 23, 1954 Iu1r. BUD :}Q0DI1AN, reporter for the
Detroit Free Press, called this office and talked to the 11l'riter
and stated he had so~ne more material concerning the Flying Saucer
Club and he 1·JOuld be ~lad to send it over to us if "[.Je Here as
interested in the organization as they thought 111e should be.
I advised him we would be interested in receiving any material he
or anyone else 11ished to submit.
JYir. GOODl'lAN then stated that his paper was interested
in running a story· on the Flying Saucer Club and he v.r·)ndered whether
. they would be able to put a -statement in it to the effect . that
the F'BI is investir;;ating the ore;anization. The t-.Jriter advised

state·'nent inasmuch as it v.rould be strictly conjectural on the
part 0f anyone vJho made it. l'-1r. GOOD!-1-AN then inquired whether

After discussing this matter v-rith the SAC, the ,,Triter
called GOOD;',AN at the City Desk of the Free Press and advised him
that 1-1e had no position in this ·matter a.nd it v.rould nwke no
difference one Hay or another to .us 1vhether the story 1'fas run
by ·-Jis paper. 1,~ith respect to any statement concerning this
Bureau investigating the br;Janization, the l>Jriter reiterated that
such a statement would be strictly conjectural • .
Hr. GOOD£.1AN stated that he a ;.preciated the ansl'fers and
would also like to knm-J Hhether he would be off base if he made a
