Internet Archive (Paul Galante) · 2018-04-22 · 286 pages · text from the file's own layer

This Internet Archive upload by Paul Galante reproduces the FBI's 2017 FOIA release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault about George Adamski. The release contains 281 previously processed pages. It includes 1954 Detroit field office memoranda on the Flying Saucer Club of Detroit, on informants who worried that its anti-hydrogen-bomb messages were political propaganda, and on a July 1954 meeting presided over by Adamski. Later items cover Joseph Perry's 1960 Grand Blanc saucer photograph, which was passed to the Air Force, and a 1960 Detroit sighting report.

Gentlemen:
I don't exactly know how to write a report on this

Mr. Bailey ca led and said he could not attend because of
a previous endagement. Later on Mr. Hobart called and said
Marxer had so~e tapes he would like to pick up and would I
mind if he attended.
I don't see howJ can possibly cover all the talk that
took place. The meein~ started about 8:2~ p.m •. with Bailey
starting out by saying she was an athies~ I suppose,to get
a rise out of my wife or myself. But the conversation boil-
ed down to three things. Religeon, Science and double talk.
The religeous part from a layman standpoint you could under-
stand the pros and cons. The science was to deep for me as
a layman. The double talk is what got me. I don't know any-
thing more then I read in the newspapers and hear on radio
and televisiOn about subversives. But I felt and at times
I_was sure the talk was subversive. You had to read inbetween
the lines and catch the part aimed~ rection. I
don't 1 e ese par cu ar peop e.and they are no the kind
we would hav~ for friends. The talk was fantastic as I expect-
it to be. I am firmly convinced after listening to them that
there is no such thing as a flying saucer. If the groups that
are formed and there is supposed to be some 20 of them, and
they carry on in the light they did at my house what a beau-
tiful set up they have for spreading the gospel.
One of the things in the double talk was that if a fly-
ing saucer should land we were to protect the occupants against
