This Internet Archive upload by Paul Galante reproduces the FBI's 2017 FOIA release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault about George Adamski. The release contains 281 previously processed pages. It includes 1954 Detroit field office memoranda on the Flying Saucer Club of Detroit, on informants who worried that its anti-hydrogen-bomb messages were political propaganda, and on a July 1954 meeting presided over by Adamski. Later items cover Joseph Perry's 1960 Grand Blanc saucer photograph, which was passed to the Air Force, and a 1960 Detroit sighting report.

At 5:25P~T, Friday, J;Iarch 4, 1960, Joseph Perry, 3079 Edwards Street,
Grand Blanc, ~Iichigan, telephonically contact·ed the Flint, M.ichigan,
Resident Agency ., advised ..5: !i SA NcNerney; that he op~rates a Pi~za
House at 3075 Edwarc.s Street, Grand Blanc, and the. t as a hobby he
takes photo-graphs of .the moon. He . said that he ha d recently taken
some photographs .which he thinks would be of interest to the US
· Gover11:ment ,_ ~ncl. he requested that an Agent stop at his resid ence on
Saturday,- March 5, 1960. to talk to him. At this time Mr. Perry \'las ,
, advised -that · an Agent .. would call at his residence on r:Iarch 5, 1960.
On M:arch 5, 1960, SA Raymond E. f.Ioomey an d SA McNerney, who vlere ,
"l'iorking on an l'fSP case, sto.pr;e d at Percy's ·r ·es.id ence·, anc1 he furnished
" the ·photographs :wh:i.'ch ~ are described in re -Airtel. :r.Jr. Perry
was · advised that ~ the FBI' did not inve.stigate :klaL::I~:es~n!IJ!t!f any type
of flying objects, and he said that he realiz-ed that, hov;rever, he
· requested that ·the·- EBI check the photographs over, and . therafter,
fonqard them to ' any Governmental Agency deemed appropriate.
Perry was advised ·that the photographs 1-·muld be forward ed and he
said that if possible he would like the photographs returned to him
with an iiii¥ikari1Ei explanation of what the object he thouggt to be ,
a "flying saucern actually is. He saic1 that he realized it could be
something confidential, and if that t.-vere the case, he said he vvould
not expect to have the pictures returned, and would not expect any
explanation. ·
