George Adamski FBI file

Internet Archive (Paul Galante) · 2018-04-22 · 286 pages · text from the file's own layer

This Internet Archive upload by Paul Galante reproduces the FBI's 2017 FOIA release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault about George Adamski. The release contains 281 previously processed pages. It includes 1954 Detroit field office memoranda on the Flying Saucer Club of Detroit, on informants who worried that its anti-hydrogen-bomb messages were political propaganda, and on a July 1954 meeting presided over by Adamski. Later items cover Joseph Perry's 1960 Grand Blanc saucer photograph, which was passed to the Air Force, and a 1960 Detroit sighting report.

I have not had ~ on:ortrnity to examine all of this material
and have talked wit~about it on June 30, 1955. He said
that as to the notatJ.on e p aced thereon regarding the substitution
of words, that is his innovation only or what might possibly be
the case, but certainly does not intend to leave the impression
any such substitution or interpretation was intended by the
writer of the material, LAURA MARXER.
It will be noted one o~ lmain concerns regarding this
club ~1as that it would make a good source for disseminatiof
of propaganda, not that it actually is being done.lhimself
said he still does not know whether the Flying Saucer club is
legitimate, but he tends mor•:; to the view they are so-called11theoriststr or ee'ven possibly crack pots.
He reports his inf6rmatibn strictly due to loyalty and has
never asked or intimated a desire for anything in return.
