This Internet Archive upload by Paul Galante reproduces the FBI's 2017 FOIA release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault about George Adamski. The release contains 281 previously processed pages. It includes 1954 Detroit field office memoranda on the Flying Saucer Club of Detroit, on informants who worried that its anti-hydrogen-bomb messages were political propaganda, and on a July 1954 meeting presided over by Adamski. Later items cover Joseph Perry's 1960 Grand Blanc saucer photograph, which was passed to the Air Force, and a 1960 Detroit sighting report.

This card is put out under the Flying Saucer Council of America stating that this was recently founde~ by GEORGE HUNT WILLIAMSON and HENRY MADAY. The film claims to be "full length in color and sound, depicting the factual testimony of Army and Navy officers, Radar technicians, Major Do~ald Ke~hoe and ma~y others-1tt The advertisement states U(TJiis .. is the film wl+ich brought nation-wide compliments to the Detroit Flying Saucer. Club thru In:terna tional News Service o)" The film was· to be shown at the Pontiac High School auditorium, Pontiac 9 Michi_gati 9 on March 5, 1955. on --March 8, 19~5, T-1 advised that MADAY and WILLIAMSON ha~ on their own, without the knowledge of the DFSC, formed the FlY.irig Sapce~ Council -of ~rica and that it has no organization other than its name. Informant stated that this act on the part · of MADAY has also caused' some d~ssension wi. thin the DFSC., . ' , "The Detroit Times" of March 20, 1955, Ten Star Final Edition9 part 4, page?, columns 7 and 8 9 contains an ' advertisement "Are Flying Saucers Real?" It states that a documentary ~ilm consisting of testimonials of an Air Force Intelligence General s a Naval Admir~l, Radar Techn~cians and other official personnel will be shown at the Art Institute Lecture Hall, March 20 9 1955, at 7:30 PM. On March 8, 1955, T-1 advised that HENRY MA'DAY ~ wJ:ts putting_out a p~blicatio~ entitl.ed 11The Vim~na" which lvas stated as being the . official publj.cation of the ·DFSC. The January 30, 1955, issue of this publica- tion was made available by T-1 and it is noted that it claims · to be a monthly publicati.on with HENRY MADAY as its Editoi) with p~blication office at 6432 Cass Avenue, Detroit 2~' Michigan. ..
