Internet Archive (Paul Galante) · 2018-04-22 · 286 pages · text from the file's own layer

This Internet Archive upload by Paul Galante reproduces the FBI's 2017 FOIA release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault about George Adamski. The release contains 281 previously processed pages. It includes 1954 Detroit field office memoranda on the Flying Saucer Club of Detroit, on informants who worried that its anti-hydrogen-bomb messages were political propaganda, and on a July 1954 meeting presided over by Adamski. Later items cover Joseph Perry's 1960 Grand Blanc saucer photograph, which was passed to the Air Force, and a 1960 Detroit sighting report.

It 111as finally decided that Mr. Maday should be given the
authority to set up a nominating committee to select new
officers for the club. After the meeting Mr. Maday, - I,
Clyde and Helen Tripanier, another chap (I forget his name)
drove over to Baird and Helen Wallace's home for coffee.
We were all thanked by Maday for getting control at the
meeting and having things turn out the way they did. Deep
talk on Saucers of not much interest to the writer took
place. No double talk.
Maday called me at work last Friday ~nd left word for
me to call Helen Tripanier. ~elen said Maday wanted me to
be the Chairman of the Nominating Committee. I accepted.
Maday is picking the slate and the committee vrill present
it at the next group meeting. I was asked if I would be the
treasurer, I refused. The new slate of officers will be sel-
ected and voted in and from this will come the Board of Dir-
ectors. They will incorporate as a non-profit organization.
This will be the new start.
You will note by the heading of the paper that I have
a new position. I am no longer at 6432 Cass Avenue, Tr. 5-
6300. I may be contacted at the new address or at my home.
