Internet Archive (Paul Galante) · 2018-04-22 · 286 pages · text from the file's own layer

This Internet Archive upload by Paul Galante reproduces the FBI's 2017 FOIA release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault about George Adamski. The release contains 281 previously processed pages. It includes 1954 Detroit field office memoranda on the Flying Saucer Club of Detroit, on informants who worried that its anti-hydrogen-bomb messages were political propaganda, and on a July 1954 meeting presided over by Adamski. Later items cover Joseph Perry's 1960 Grand Blanc saucer photograph, which was passed to the Air Force, and a 1960 Detroit sighting report.

T-1 advised on January 19, 1955, that even though
he knew of no activities of a subversive nature as far
as the DFSC was concerned, he still was mistrusting of
themo He felt they could be a new religious cult or just
fanaticso He said he could not dispel the one p0ssibflity
that the club or saucer organization generally, either
nationally or internationally, could be controlle.d or
directed by a foreign power.. One purpose or the Club is
to prepare people for saucer landingso The Informant
felt this would be an excell~nt m~d:um to prepare for
landings of any tyRe craft ~f a more or less unfamiliar
nature and they need not be too remote in appearance
from ordinary crafto Informant felt if the pe0ple v..ere
prepared to accept such craft it might be much easier
for a foreign power, such as Russia, to suddenly invade
the United Stateso The Informant said the people would
actually be accepting an enemy forc·e as friends when it
would be too late to take qther effective action ..
