This Internet Archive upload by Paul Galante reproduces the FBI's 2017 FOIA release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault about George Adamski. The release contains 281 previously processed pages. It includes 1954 Detroit field office memoranda on the Flying Saucer Club of Detroit, on informants who worried that its anti-hydrogen-bomb messages were political propaganda, and on a July 1954 meeting presided over by Adamski. Later items cover Joseph Perry's 1960 Grand Blanc saucer photograph, which was passed to the Air Force, and a 1960 Detroit sighting report.

At this time the Informant felt the O££icers o£ the club must have more information than they have indicated at any o£ the meetingsa He felt either they knew more than they have said about £lying saucers or that it could be a hoaxo He did not think the latter was the case, since so many people were involved, but could not be sureo The Informant said he did not think Communist$ or Communism had any connection with the clubo T-1 advised that on December 6, 1954, a meeting was held at Hancock and Second, Detroit with HENRY MADAY as chairman. Other Directors present were, JOHN·Co HOFFMAN, HOWARD KEHL, MADELINE MENDE and RANDALL COX. The remainder present were group leade~s. This Informant said that ~uch o£ what was said was double talk and as an example various o££icers o£ the club stated: HENRY MADAY - Speaking on the sub j3 ct o£ God said "The Master is the cosmic high. We in this room, are being used by the Master. Once we get into this thing there's no turning back". He added that group leaders should not sell saucer information to groups but should encourage discussion about sightings, literature, tape recordinga o£ speeches, religious and scientific angles. : HOWARD KEHL - He mentioned he had a business acquaintance who he did not want to know he was a member of the DFSC as he would be considered a crack pot. He said he was in this searching for a way to get off the earth. People are tired o£ what has been going on here on earth £or a long time and were looking for a way outo MADELINE MENDE - Said she was a· student o£ the 4th dimension and that her aim in the DFSC was tcr spread the gospel o£ the coming of the people o£ ot~er - 7 - ....____________________________________-- - ··--·
