This Internet Archive upload by Paul Galante reproduces the FBI's 2017 FOIA release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault about George Adamski. The release contains 281 previously processed pages. It includes 1954 Detroit field office memoranda on the Flying Saucer Club of Detroit, on informants who worried that its anti-hydrogen-bomb messages were political propaganda, and on a July 1954 meeting presided over by Adamski. Later items cover Joseph Perry's 1960 Grand Blanc saucer photograph, which was passed to the Air Force, and a 1960 Detroit sighting report.

was a Communist. MADAY answered this by saying h&
would mention no names, but the accuser should see him
about this, and the accused was not a Communist. He
said fellow travellers could get in or infiltrate the
club, but he was at a loss as to any way of controlling
that. As a result of this meeting, the Informant felt
the group might be s~bversive, or else a new religious
group. He felt it all stems from ADAMSKI in California.
Informant said it was mentioned that one RIC. WILKINSON,
a flying saucer speaker, had moved to Detroit.
At this same meeting MADAY said that had saucer
landings occurred in Detroit in October, the group leaders
would have been the first to know it. MADAY said he
reported to ADAMSKI the predictions of MARXER and ADAMSKI
felt she spould not predict more than 30 days in advance,
and even that was no good sometimes.
T-1 said that on November 8, 1954, LAURA MARXER
said she was resigning from the Board of Dire.ctors of the
club as she had too many outside interests and 'she had
to eato She said she was going to show the film "The
Day the Earth Stood Stillf' around 111ichigan a:s a result
of having met two men {not named). She said ADAMSKI
in California was her God, even admitting his earthly
faults.
This Informant advised on January 5~ 1955, that
MADAY told him LAURA MARXER was to be considered an
inactive memher and officer, but that she would retain
her :po.sition as Vice-President, although inactive, and
no one else would fill this position. The Informant.
said the organization of the club is ve~ loose and
that its address, 6432 Cass Avenue, Detro±t, was in fact
only a secretarial service whicH accepted the mail and
telephone calls for the clubo e said this secretarial
service also did the DFSC mimeographing and stenographic
duties. The DFSC had no office space of their own.
The Ii:Iformant said that the DFSC owed one Mrs.
SMITH, who owned the secretarial service at 6432 Cass
Avenue~ $150.00 about two months ago and that had now
amounted to $500.00·a. The Informan.t. said there has never
been any organized attempt to obtain members for the
club or any fund raising appeals. He said anyone
