This Internet Archive upload by Paul Galante reproduces the FBI's 2017 FOIA release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault about George Adamski. The release contains 281 previously processed pages. It includes 1954 Detroit field office memoranda on the Flying Saucer Club of Detroit, on informants who worried that its anti-hydrogen-bomb messages were political propaganda, and on a July 1954 meeting presided over by Adamski. Later items cover Joseph Perry's 1960 Grand Blanc saucer photograph, which was passed to the Air Force, and a 1960 Detroit sighting report.

3. To invite qualified national "Saucer"
speakers to Detroit, that the pooulace may
be enlightened by authoritative "inf'ormati.on
unavailable elsewhere; also to act as
ureservoirs of resourcett when called upon,
by our furnishing competent non-professional
speakers of our own to enlighten areas
wherever such information may be sought.
4. To engage in whatever aspect of saucer
interest that especially appeals to you:
(viz, some are attracted to thia subject
thru their study of Astronomy; others
Engineering; still others approach the
Subject from a philos.aphical or spiritual
basis. Or if you are merely curious as
yet and have n~ - special preference, that is
all right too). It would be a particular
aim not only to supply and recommend at all
times the latest Flying Saucer literature,
but to purchase books for libraries ov~r the
city and state, as a freewill project of the
Flying Saucer C~ub of Detroit.
The Temporary Committee setting forth theie aims
were: HENRY MADAY, LAURA MARXER, BRYANT REEVE, N. D.
HUNTER, HOWARD KEHL, HELEN REEVE and JOHN HOFFMAN. At
this July 15, 1954> meeting GEBRGE ADAMSKI introduced
one CLARENCE 0. ~ROUT of, East uter Drive, Detroit, who
reported seeing a flying. saucer July 14, 1954, at 10:30

Mrs~~~ JEAN· MYRUS, 8'848 Stoepel.,. Detroit advised
that the .f:Lrst dffic:Lal meeting of the Detroit Flying
Saucer 'Club (DFSC) would be held August 19', · 1954.

The Detr·oit Times of August ~Q, 1954, in an
article on the ' August 19, 1954, meeting, said that
ttScientists were wrong in discounting the flying saucer
theory" and that the club would act as a clearing house
for local sightings and submit reports to the Army test
center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton.
Miss LOUISE MOONEY advised that the August 19,
1954, meeting consisted mostly of people saying they had
