This Internet Archive upload by Paul Galante reproduces the FBI's 2017 FOIA release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault about George Adamski. The release contains 281 previously processed pages. It includes 1954 Detroit field office memoranda on the Flying Saucer Club of Detroit, on informants who worried that its anti-hydrogen-bomb messages were political propaganda, and on a July 1954 meeting presided over by Adamski. Later items cover Joseph Perry's 1960 Grand Blanc saucer photograph, which was passed to the Air Force, and a 1960 Detroit sighting report.

SUBJECT: DETROIT FLYING SAUCER CLUB
The writer on several occasions has been contacted by one
LEONARD DAVIDSON, 14896 Kentfield, Detroit, Mich~gan. DAVIDSON
is a patrolman on the Detroit Police Department and an associate
of the writer.
DAVIDSON, who is a member of the above club, advised that
one RA~IDALL COX, who is also a club member, has on occasion stated
that he is working in conjunction with the FBI and he nas been told
to report to Washington, D.C. for a conference. COX stated that he
was supposed to bring with him one JOHN c. HOFF~ffiN, an officer of
the above club and a cousin of DAVIDSON. COX has set the date for
his trip to Washington fun several occasions, but when it came
time to go COX has stated that it was impossible for him to make
the trip and would go at another time.
DAVIDSON stated that he is a little dubious about being a
member of the above club as the club Officers have no way of
accounting to the membership about the use of the club's funds.
rAVIDSON stated that he has no reason to suspect 'anyone of anything
but at times he qa8 wondered about the sympathies, with respect
to political views, of the following persons, HENRY MAYDAY and
GEORGE HUNT WILLIAMSON.
DAV.IDSON stated that the purpose of the club was to study
all ofthe evidence and stories about flying saucers to see if they
are true or false and to try and keep the public informaed in such
a way as to prevent a riot while keeping the public informed.
