tor the Johnson-Humphrey Adninistration
of a bill providing $2o.5 billion more ~-ap~P:'attnx
to spend ikD before June 30 of this year.
We Hepublicans p~tai »*21 concentrated our Ifire on the Rent Supplements and
Teacher Corps programs.
The initial amounts recommended~ for these programs by' the House
Appropriati.ons Committee were relatively small--$12 llillion to liJ start tie
