This FBI FOIA release, obtained via MuckRock, contains a July 11, 2018 FBI referral letter to the Air Force about Emma Best's request for records on Fred Lee Crisman. The referred material is a 1947 Army Air Forces A-2 intelligence investigative report on a flying disc incident reported at Tacoma, Washington. The agent inspected Dahl's boat and found no trace of damage. The file also holds a July 22, 1947 Venture Press letter asking a pilot to investigate the Maury Island story.
