This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section collects 1949 Army intelligence reports of unidentified aerial objects seen around Camp Hood, Texas, forwarded by the San Antonio office, which told the Director it was reviewing and destroying such reports unless they held FBI interest. It also has 1957 FBI liaison memoranda on a radar-tracked object near Montauk Point and Benton, Pennsylvania, judged unlikely to be a Soviet operation. The file also includes a civilian Flying Saucer Researchers release arguing that saucers probably come from Mars.

At 6:55 a.m. this date received a call to 817 northwest 7th. get a report. We talked with WM-45 who stated there was something in his backyard which he believed to be a flying saucer. Mr. warned us about touching the object, stating it had wire on it; however, on examining the object we found it to be a rock. He also observed that Mr. had been drinking; however, he was at home and not disturbing anyone, therefore we left him there
