This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section collects 1949 Army intelligence reports of unidentified aerial objects seen around Camp Hood, Texas, forwarded by the San Antonio office, which told the Director it was reviewing and destroying such reports unless they held FBI interest. It also has 1957 FBI liaison memoranda on a radar-tracked object near Montauk Point and Benton, Pennsylvania, judged unlikely to be a Soviet operation. The file also includes a civilian Flying Saucer Researchers release arguing that saucers probably come from Mars.

Review that a huge increase was expected in after the any 1952 More approach, and this was thecotul case. This issue was printed December 1951. Reports continued to come in at an oven rate until Nov. 1951, when an unprecedented new object appeared, the Green Fireballs. Our study of all known american aircraft and missiles, and meteor history showed these objects were no known flying weapon or meteor known in astronomical history. We believe the fireballs are allied somehow to the saucers, having a common unknown origin; that their great brilliancy (differing from saucers unobtrusiveness mount they were probably auto sdrt of signals, the green color as a similarity to Earth color seen from space (due to large amount of surface covered by water.) The meaning of these signals is not clear, although Donald Keyhoes now book states they may be warning us in handling atomic weapons which were being tested at time of fireball sightings! Another object we have found, is a rare brilliant color-changing light seen about 15 times in the last 7 years. It is usually described as hovering from 10 minutes to 3 hours, continually changing from red to green to white. Its great brilliancy is also very different from the ordinary stealthy sockets, and we believe it is also a signal device of some sort. ## FUTURE SAUCER ACTIVITY On the basis of our present conclusions, we expect a great increase in the sancer reports to begin again with the approach of More in summer of 1954. Reports should increase during late spring, and reach their peak in late summer, with more reports of the occasional 'landings' reported in the past 3 years; and total numbers of doses a day similar to July 1952. We therefore appreciate any publicity aid given us in requesting public response in reports, that will help us maintain the best coverage in the coming important months of 1954.
