This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section collects 1949 Army intelligence reports of unidentified aerial objects seen around Camp Hood, Texas, forwarded by the San Antonio office, which told the Director it was reviewing and destroying such reports unless they held FBI interest. It also has 1957 FBI liaison memoranda on a radar-tracked object near Montauk Point and Benton, Pennsylvania, judged unlikely to be a Soviet operation. The file also includes a civilian Flying Saucer Researchers release arguing that saucers probably come from Mars.

99 JEB. 23 1953. 3.35 to 3:35 PM. MONTFREN, P.NCE. 44 $ ^{0} $ 4 $ ^{0} $ A circular metallic, but intensely brilliant object hovered motionless for nearly 10 minutes, then disappeared vertically. Observed by the radio navigator in the french air force.
50 728. 23 1953. Noontime. CO03 BAY, OREGON. $ 43 \frac{1}{2} ^ {\circ}, 1 2 4 \frac{1}{2} ^ {\circ} $ . A cigar like object or spherical object with extensions on it, appeared just to the west of the sun. (COMMENT; This area had many balloon flights, and it is probable this objects lack of motion would include it among balloon flights.
751 FEB. 23 1953. Daytime. Near GOSHEN, OHIO. $ 391^{\circ} $ , 841. A metallic saucer, emitting a white glow at intervals, wobbled as it crossed sky faster than a jet. Observed by 2 man, one a former A.F. Technician.

54 FEB. 23 1953. Evening. CONNEAUT, OHIO. 42 $ ^{\circ} $ , 80 $ ^{\circ} $ . Strange light seen here again, and also at AMHERST, OHIO. No other details available
55 FEB. 23 1953. 4:00 P.M. NIMES, FRANCE. A4 $ ^{0} $ , $ 4 \frac{1}{2} $ $ ^{0} $ . An unknown object slowly crossed sky, leaving luminous vapor trail that was at first th and horizontal, but later curled up in less than a minute, after becoming shaped like a circle.

57 FEB. 24 1953. Morning. ERIE, OHIO. $ 4 2 _ { 8 } ^ { 1 0 } $ , $ 8 0 ^ { 0 } $ . Flying saucer was seen in area again, by milkman.

#59 FEB. 25 1953. 11:00 A.M. BLIDA, ALGERIA. 36 , 2 . Two unidenti aircraft or objects, flew noiselessly flew with great speed across leaving a circular white vapor trail path that remained for some time
#60 FEB. 25 1953. Daytime. SERIA, BRUNEI STATE, BORNEO. $ 5^{\circ}, 114^{\circ} $ . A circular object hovered in sky 40 minutes, left a vaportrail. (COMMEN A letter from the Education Dept. director in response to our request to the Borneo papers stated this was Venus shining brightly, visible noon time the next day also. The exceptional duration tends to back to conventional theories of a star or balloon, although new versions seem to describe a usual rotating, circular saucer)
61 FEB. 26 1953. Morning. PERIGEUX, FRANCE. 450, 10. A brilliant cylindrical object, followed by a shapeless object appeared in sky. Very large shapeless object moved away with great speed, noiselessly and the pole-like or cigar shaped object turned towards city and moved across part of sky for 1 minute. (COMMENT: This appears to be a rare report of a saucer seen with the cigar-shaped objects, first reported over Sweden in 1946. The eywitnesses said object moved in different directions, and moved too fast to have been clouds of any sort.)
#62 FEB. 27 1953. 6:05 AM. NONROE TOWNSHIP, OHIO. 42 $ ^{\circ} $ , 80 $ ^{\circ} $ . A very brilliant yellow white light, elliptical or eyeshaped, hovered for 2 minutes in the western sky.
