This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section collects 1949 Army intelligence reports of unidentified aerial objects seen around Camp Hood, Texas, forwarded by the San Antonio office, which told the Director it was reviewing and destroying such reports unless they held FBI interest. It also has 1957 FBI liaison memoranda on a radar-tracked object near Montauk Point and Benton, Pennsylvania, judged unlikely to be a Soviet operation. The file also includes a civilian Flying Saucer Researchers release arguing that saucers probably come from Mars.

27 FEB. 13 1953. 4:00 to 5:00 AM. BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA. 374,1221. A very bright light resembling a star, hovered one hour, disappeared several times, and finally disappeared by crossing sky in one minute. (COMMENT: The exceptional period of observation, between 1 and 2 hours suggests this may have been a star under rare weather conditions but if final description of its moving off are correct, this would be a rare saucer report. Only a helicopter could perform such long hovering, and only air force would have them in this area.)
28 FEB.13 1953. 2 hours during morning. MONROE, WISCONSIN. 421,891? A light moved erratically and rapidly at first in sky, later slowed down, as it changed from red to green to white, while slowly moving from west to east. (COMMENT: This would appear to be a signal saucer object, except air force later stated it was a star under unusual weather conditions. How a star would move from west to east in sky was not explained by the air force investigators.)
#29 FEB. 23 1953. Afternoon. INVERNESS, ENGLAND. 571 $ ^{\circ} $ , 4 $ ^{\circ} $ . 1 Oval grey object turned sideways, and appeared cigar-shaped, then darted back and forth at great speed, disappearing twice.
A very bright object or light hovered and then moved back and forth for 12 minutes or more in sky. Other observers reported saucer-like objects with long blue flaming trails at the same time. (COMMENT: Any reports made between 5:30 and 6:30 PM should be considered very doubtful as the setting sun makes ordinary balloons and planes and vapor trails appear flaming or as bright saucer-like spots. This report very doubtful.)
#31 FEB. 139 1953. A reddish sphere, about the size of moon, remained motionless for 15 minutes, then suddenly disappeared.
#32 FEB. 15 1953. 6:30 P.M.NARION, SOUTH CAROLINA. $ 3 4 \frac {1 0}{8} $ , $ 7 0 \frac {1}{2} $ . An object carrying a bright white light crossed sky heading north. Same object seen at Wilmington, N.C., believed to be a meteor.
#33 FEB. 13 1953. 9:30 PM. MARION, SOUTH CAROLINA. One yellow object at 1,000 feet disappeared; when observers were under it, its yellow light went out, and it had about 12 yellow, green, and red lights arranged in a diamond shape. It then began moving slowly, then so fast the 70 mph speed of car could not keep up. (COMMENT: This coloration unknown in saucer reports, and object may have been blimp)
#34 FEB. 13 1953. 10:30 P.M. LAKE VIEW, SOUTH CAROLINA. $ 3 4 \frac {1 0}{3}, 7 9 \frac {1 5}{3} $ A red and white illuminated object making a motor noise crossed sky, and when overhead, was seen carrying 4 red and white lights. (COMMENT The motor noise is unknown in saucers, and object probably was blimp)
#35 FEB. 23 1953. 10:35 PM. LAKE VIEW, SOUTH CAROLINA. At about same time, another observer saw object hovering in sky, carrying 10 lights and making motor noise. COMMENT: Description almost same as at Marion,

37 FEB. 15 1953. 9:25 PM. EUDBURY, ONTARIO, CANADA. 461 $ ^{\circ} $ , 81 $ ^{\circ} $ .
