This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section collects 1949 Army intelligence reports of unidentified aerial objects seen around Camp Hood, Texas, forwarded by the San Antonio office, which told the Director it was reviewing and destroying such reports unless they held FBI interest. It also has 1957 FBI liaison memoranda on a radar-tracked object near Montauk Point and Benton, Pennsylvania, judged unlikely to be a Soviet operation. The file also includes a civilian Flying Saucer Researchers release arguing that saucers probably come from Mars.

#11 FEB. 3. 1953. Evening. LEXINGTON, OREGON. 4510, 11910. An object appeared to throw off blue light crossed sky. (COMMENT: Although many flights of balloons, the blue color and after dark observation tend to back this being an unknown object, as the sunset makes ball appear red.)

13 FEB. 57 1953. Afternoon. MORBIERE, FRANCE. $ 4 7 \frac {1}{2} $ $ 5 ^ {\circ} $ . Brilliant or bright spot appeared in a vapor trail after the airplane crossed leaving a huge trail, and remained in same place after winds blew the trail away.
#14 FEB. 6 1953. 10:00 A.M. Near INDIO, CALIFORNIA. A saucer-like hovering in sky was joined by another saucer-like object, and both in same area for next 2 hours.
