This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section collects 1949 Army intelligence reports of unidentified aerial objects seen around Camp Hood, Texas, forwarded by the San Antonio office, which told the Director it was reviewing and destroying such reports unless they held FBI interest. It also has 1957 FBI liaison memoranda on a radar-tracked object near Montauk Point and Benton, Pennsylvania, judged unlikely to be a Soviet operation. The file also includes a civilian Flying Saucer Researchers release arguing that saucers probably come from Mars.

Appeared to be a product of type unknown to observer. In length, including tail, was about 14 thumbs.
8. Color of object: Pretty blue tail with nose round in shape and exceedingly brilliant like a magnesium flare only more intense.
9. Shape (give graphic description - compare with known object); Shaped like rocket but larger than ordinary. Appeared to have a ball-like nucleus exiting a blue-white tail.
20. Altitude (Angle of elevation above horizon - 0 dogroos at horizon, 90 dogroos overboad):
Estimated 39$^{\circ}$.
