This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section collects 1949 Army intelligence reports of unidentified aerial objects seen around Camp Hood, Texas, forwarded by the San Antonio office, which told the Director it was reviewing and destroying such reports unless they held FBI interest. It also has 1957 FBI liaison memoranda on a radar-tracked object near Montauk Point and Benton, Pennsylvania, judged unlikely to be a Soviet operation. The file also includes a civilian Flying Saucer Researchers release arguing that saucers probably come from Mars.

Sirs I have come across some literature, that I believe may be subtly subversive. I am sending as much of this literature as I was able to obtain and keep in my possession. The book, "Out-witting Tomorrow" seems designed to "brain wash" the well-meaning and serious person, preparing the mind for the subsequent monographs, and lessons, which are apparently an indocritination, teaching self-hypnosis. This doctrine seems to be tied up with the idea, that U. F. O.s. are visitors from other planets. Monograph, number twelve, takes a legal refuge on its cover and warns that some individuals who may try to practice one of its exercises (a kind of mental masturbation) might be come degenerates. These monographs appear to be let out to the prospective convert, in small, well planned, amounts at a time. Probably to keep the victims intelligence from rejecting the material in its entirety. The emphasis is on secrecy, deception, and silence. I think it is their policy to go on declaring to be the same religion they were before they became addicted to this weird doctrine, (at least the one my husband met did). You would never know who they are. I believe this to be as dangerous as dope addiction. It is my opinion, that if the communist are able to get our irresponsible people on dope, and the responsible but slightly gullible people self-hypnotized into an "outter space condition, and the rebellious, nonconformist demonstrating, they
