This part of an FBI file holds a July 1967 letter sent to Director J. Edgar Hoover by a reporter for UFO Contact, the journal of the International Get Acquainted Program (IGAP), along with a copy of the magazine, dedicated to George Adamski. The magazine includes an editorial praising Adamski, an open letter to Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, and Ronald Caswell's account of contactee Fred Steckling's European lecture tour and his film of a UFO formation. The file also contains AFSCA newsletter items and an advertisement for AFSCA's 1966 Reno convention.

Director J. Edgar Hoover Federal Bureau of Investigation Washington, D. C. A very Happy Birthday... July 1967. I am very lucky to have the opportunity this afternoon to be able to Introduce to you the ufo contact igap journal. This magazine has been dedicated to Mr. George Adamski. Dear Mr. Hoover: My letter to you and the enclosed magazine is a project of my own. I am a reporter for ufo contact, and in this way I hope to bring to the attention of V.I.P. of our country, our magazine and the message that it contains, to the reader. I don't sell the magazine, but plan to give it to the person I write to as a gift. The cost is my own, and the experience I will gain will be my reward, perhaps an advancement to the position of co-worker for IGAP in the future. Thank you very much for giving me a moment of your time. I am sure you will find our magazine interesting. May I again wish you a very Happy Birthday! (Walter Kinchell) Column EXP. PROC.
