FBI file: UFO, UFO Part 15

This part of an FBI file holds a July 1967 letter sent to Director J. Edgar Hoover by a reporter for UFO Contact, the journal of the International Get Acquainted Program (IGAP), along with a copy of the magazine, dedicated to George Adamski. The magazine includes an editorial praising Adamski, an open letter to Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, and Ronald Caswell's account of contactee Fred Steckling's European lecture tour and his film of a UFO formation. The file also contains AFSCA newsletter items and an advertisement for AFSCA's 1966 Reno convention.

Dear Mr. Hoover,

I am doing my Science Fair project on U.F.F.D.s. Could you please send me any and all information you have on this subject? I would like to appreciate any information you may have so to hour many planes we have lost having U.F.F.D.s. Why has this information been kept a secret? Why is it important to national defence?
