This part of an FBI file holds a July 1967 letter sent to Director J. Edgar Hoover by a reporter for UFO Contact, the journal of the International Get Acquainted Program (IGAP), along with a copy of the magazine, dedicated to George Adamski. The magazine includes an editorial praising Adamski, an open letter to Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, and Ronald Caswell's account of contactee Fred Steckling's European lecture tour and his film of a UFO formation. The file also contains AFSCA newsletter items and an advertisement for AFSCA's 1966 Reno convention.

## Dear I have received your letter of December 20th. Although I would like to be of assistance, matters pertaining to Unidentified Flying Objects are not within the jurisdiction of the FBI. Inasmuch as your communication is of interest to another governmental agency, I am referring a copy of it to the Director of Special Investigations, The Inspector General, Department of the Air Force, Washington, D.
