This FBI file release, Part 14 of the Bureau's UFO file, collects correspondence and memoranda from 1960 to 1968. Much of it concerns Joseph Perry of Grand Blanc, Michigan, whose moon photograph appeared to show a saucer-like object. The FBI passed the slides to Air Force OSI at Selfridge AFB and said repeatedly that it was not investigating. The file also covers a Denver lecture about space people, an anonymous Dallas informant, a NICAP subcommittee, and form replies stating that UFOs fall outside FBI jurisdiction.

## --- MISCELLANEOUS - INFORMATION CONCERNING Nationalities Intelligence FRYING DISCS Reurlet 12/19/58. In paragraph two thereof reference is made to a book written by Gray Barker and published by University Books Publisher entitled "They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers." Reference books at the Seat of Government fail to reflect the location of this publisher and since the Bureau is desirous of obtaining a copy of this book, it is requested that you recontact the publisher. In the event volunteers to make a copy of this book available, it is permissible for you to accept same and furnish it to the Bureau. 42-83894-400 JFW:jac (4) zs DEC 31 1958 could furnish him any data concerning the "hush-up" he explained that formed the Connecticut in 1952 to look into the flying saucer mystery. In 1953 allegedly stated he knew what the saucers are; then, according to, "Three men in black suits" silenced to the extent that even today will not discuss the matter of his "hush-up" with anyone. Explained that he recently learned that the FBI is involved in the "hush-up." On 12/19/58 was interviewed to obtain all information in his possession concerning the "hush-up" of the Bureau as well as what part the FBI was alleged to have played in the "hush-up." Concerning the he referred the Interviewing Agents to the book set out above. In addition to information regarding this incident it is possible this book may contain other data of interest. Accordingly, not only to resolve this matter but also to ascertain whether any allegations of interest to the Bureau are contained in the book, we should if possible obtain a copy. Upon receipt, it will be reviewed with the Bureau's interest in mind. 67 JAN 1959
