FBI file: UFO, UFO Part 14

Federal Bureau of Investigation · 141 pages · text by GLM-OCR

This FBI file release, Part 14 of the Bureau's UFO file, collects correspondence and memoranda from 1960 to 1968. Much of it concerns Joseph Perry of Grand Blanc, Michigan, whose moon photograph appeared to show a saucer-like object. The FBI passed the slides to Air Force OSI at Selfridge AFB and said repeatedly that it was not investigating. The file also covers a Denver lecture about space people, an anonymous Dallas informant, a NICAP subcommittee, and form replies stating that UFOs fall outside FBI jurisdiction.

## Dear Sirs,

Our club is very interested in the study of Unidentified Flying Objects. We were studying a magazine called UFO'S A Pictorial and on one of the pages there was a picture of a supposedly man from outer space who was being held by two men. Above the picture it stated the two men were FBI agents who had captured this man and were walking down an American street. It had also stated that the picture had first been published in an XXXXXXX German newspaper. There was no other additional information. We would appreciate it if you would send us a letter telling us whether this is true or untrue. Could you please send us the information.

We have three members in our club they
