This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section collects 1954 to 1961 correspondence and memoranda about flying saucers. Most of it concerns the Detroit Flying Saucer Club, which the Detroit office reported on from informants and chose not to investigate, while Bureau headquarters said saucer matters belonged to the Air Force. It also includes public letters to J. Edgar Hoover, a 1955 North Carolina sighting report, Leonard Stringfield's 1961 anonymous warning call, and policy reviews that restate the practice of referring reports to the Air Force.

All this might boil down to the following concept combine which involve (1) four thermal reactors fire to one point (2) against an outside thrust plate from behind and similar in modified concept to the food and of a gaseous cavity reactor, (3) into which superheated hydrogen vortex fissioning uranium vapor is fed to cause controlled hydrogen fusion for propulsive power, or into which vortox streams of impeting hydrogen atoms are fired by accelerator guns. A rough sketch, sufficient to convey the idea night look this: In this critical time, and even if the concept only partly works, it may result, militarily, in being able to put an at warhead on Moscow in a matter of minutes instead of hours.
