This FBI file section contains a 20 January 1953 letter from the Johnson County, Indiana civil defense office asking J. Edgar Hoover whether the International Flying Saucer Bureau was subversive, with an enclosed issue of its bulletin Space Review. It also holds 1956 FBI memoranda and letters to Air Force investigators on a Van Nuys landing claim, a bright light seen from Oxford, Pennsylvania, and a low spinning object seen near Henderson, North Carolina. In each case the FBI took no action.

Re Detroit Teletype to Bureau, 11/7/57, captioned "UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS; IS - X." Interview of , aka. reported in Blank Leo, five copies of which are herewith for the Bureau, was conducted by JK No indication of irrational or otherwise abnormal behavior was observed during the interview. advised that his communication was directed to sir. ALSER CUTLER rather than to President LISEHROLL after seeing sir. CUTLER's picture and identification with the President's Office in a local paper. resides with his life, nee married in 1952 at Detroit, and four small children, in a single residence in an old Polish neighborhood at Detroit. No previous record located in Detroit Inuces identifiable with or his wife. On 11/7/57, that records of the inquiries concerning ring 6/56 and 3/57 and 6/57, which confirm his local address and employment
