This part of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's UFO file collects FBI and Air Force correspondence from about 1950 to 1953. It includes an Air Force OSI district summary of aerial phenomena in New Mexico from December 1948 to May 1950, which reports that green fireballs occurred near sensitive installations and remained unexplained. It also holds a 1950 sighting of an orange sphere by a New Haven chemical engineer, a report from jet pilots near Fairbanks, a Los Alamos reporting form, and 1953 memos on sighting tips that the FBI passed on without investigating.

Mr. reiterated that he felt his story, if true, should be given wide publicity, but that if the story was false, then he should be prosecuted for fraud. He stated that he first took his information to the Air Force in the person of Lieutenant Colonel of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, whom visited personally at home in Fairborn, Ohio, on Sunday, 6-6-54. Indicated that he asked Colonel if there were such things as flying saucers and if story could be true, and he said denied that there was such a thing as a flying saucer and indicated to him that DONALD E. KEHOE, the author of "Flying Saucers in Outer Space" was a fraud and that information is available in Washington that KEHOE is a fraud.
